The Balance Story
Morgan and Ariel met at university orientation and fittingly, it was due to skin. Ariel arrived straight from work in her cosmetic medicine clinic uniform, and a conversation sparked that would become the foundation of something much bigger. Bonded by shared ambitions and a small dose of fear for the degree ahead, the two soon stayed in touch, and just months later their friendship truly took shape when Ariel relocated out west and the pair began carpooling together.
Over the next three years, their friendship deepened into a meaningful partnership, filled with late-night conversations, shared goals, and the beginnings of a 10-year business plan they hoped one day to bring to life.
Balance was born over a celebratory glass of champagne, a quiet moment marking a degree well earned, a newly purchased LED machine, and a shared belief in what was possible. As graduation approached, both women envisioned becoming cosmetic nurses and though who better to treat than one another, dreaming of running a welcoming skin and wellness clinic together one day.
That “one day” arrived sooner than expected. When Morgan found herself balancing a new nursing career alongside her passion for beauty therapy, Ariel knew something had to give. She believed Morgan deserved a way to continue doing what she loved and what better time to begin than now? The 10-year plan was brought forward by nine years and eleven months.
Balance was created from a shared passion that meant more than waiting for the perfect opportunity. Built with heart, trust, and a genuine desire to care for others, Balance quickly grew beyond expectation — rewarding Morgan and Ariel with a business rooted in connection, integrity, and a love for skin and wellness that continues to inspire everything they do.
